Since I probably now own too many flageolets, I thought I should put together a small list of them, mostly in case my house burns down and I need to prove to my insurers what I have lost. I think the total currently stands at about 73 (excluding csakans and similar) so there is still a little work to do here.
№ 1: French Flageolet by Denis Noblet in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Horn) in 5 parts. Beak is Ball and oar-shaped and made from Horn. Currently located in Stand for 10 Flageolets.

№ 2: Viennese Flageolet in B♭ with 7 tone-holes on the front (of which 1 is for the lower little finger) and 1 on the back. Made from Fruitwood (with ferrells in German silver) in 3 parts with 6 German silver keys. Beak is Oar-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.
№ 3: Viennese Flageolet in D with 7 tone-holes on the front (of which 1 is for the lower little finger) and 1 on the back. Made from Fruitwood in 3 parts with 1 Mixed key. Beak is Straight-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.
№ 4: English Flageolet in B♭ with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Fruitwood (with ferrells in German silver) in 3 parts with 1 German silver key. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.
№ 5: English Flageolet by Hastrick in B♭ with 6 tone-holes on the front and 1 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Ivory) in 3 parts with 4 Brass keys. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.

№ 8: English Flageolet by Barnett Samuel in G with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Boxwood in 3 parts with 1 Brass key. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Flute / Fife head exists. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.

№ 9: English Flageolet in G with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Rosewood (with ferrells in German silver) in 4 parts with 6 German silver keys. Beak is Oar-shaped and made from Ivory. Flute / Fife head exists. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.
Notes: Keyed left-handed. Also original mahogany box.
№ 10: English Flageolet in F with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Fruitwood (with ferrells in Brass & German Silver) in 3 parts with 1 Brass key. Currently located in Music Chest, Drawer 2.
Marks: London / Made / F.
Notes: Currently has reproduction beak.
№ 11: English Flageolet in D with 7 tone-holes on the front (of which 1 is for the lower little finger) and 1 on the back. Made from Boxwood in 3 parts with 1 Brass key. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.
Notes: Highest fingerhole is half-stopped with ebony.
№ 12: English Flageolet in B♭ with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Fruitwood in 3 parts with 1 German silver key. Currently located in Large Display Cabinet.
Notes: Currently has “spare” beak from Lambert B -system flageolet (№ 23).
№ 13: English Flageolet by Robinson in D . Keyless, with 8 tone-holes on the front (of which 2 are for the lower little finger) and 1 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Ivory) in 4 parts with 0 key. Currently located in Music Chest, Drawer 2.
Marks: Robinson / London.
№ 14: Bird Flageolet in G (high) . Keyless, with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Tin in 1 part with 0 key. Currently located in Small Display Cabinet.
№ 15: Bird Flageolet by John Orth in G (high) . Keyless, with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Ebony in 1 part with 0 key. Currently located in Small Display Cabinet.
Notes: Modern: made in 2015. Has small stand.
№ 16: Bird Flageolet by John Orth in G (high) . Keyless, with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Rosewood in 1 part with 0 key. Currently located in Small Display Cabinet.
Notes: Modern. Top and bottom are protected by brass.
№ 17: Boehm-System French Flageolet by A. Lecomte in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Ebony (with ferrells in Silver) in 4 parts with 8 Silver keys. Beak is Oar-shaped and made from Pearl. Currently located in Stand for 10 Flageolets.

Marks: Isidor Lot × 2.
Notes: Restored by Shenna Hill 2015: modern beak.

Notes: Modern. Made in late 1990s / early 2000s.
№ 22: French Flageolet by James Wood in D . Keyless, with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Ivory) in 4 parts with 0 key. Beak is Thimble-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Small Display Cabinet.

Notes: Original case. Also has “spare” beak which is in the B♭ E flageolet at № 12.

№ 25: French Flageolet by Thibouville Freres in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Rosewood (stained) (with ferrells in German silver) in 5 parts with 1 German silver key. Beak is Cigarette holder-shaped and made from Horn. Currently located in Stand for 4 Flageolets.

№ 26: French Flageolet by Millereau et Cie in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Ebony (with ferrells in German silver) in 5 parts with 4 German silver keys. Beak is Oar on globe-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Stand for 10 Flageolets.
Marks: [Treble clef with minim middle C, E and G] / Millebreau & Cie / Brevetes / 29 Rue des 3 Bornes / Paris. .
Notes: Two of the keys are unusual half-rings.

№ 30: Flute Flageolet by Henry Hastrick in D (low) with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Ivory) in 3 parts with 1 Brass key. Currently located in Music Chest, Drawer 3.

Notes: Missing two keys. Has “Low C Key” (i.e. an extension) on right-hand pipe.
№ 31: Double Flageolet by Henry Hastrick in D with 11 tone-holes on the front (of which 1 is for the lower little finger) and 0 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Ivory) in 6 parts with 7 Ivory keys. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Faux. Currently located in Stand for 1 Double and 4 Flageolets.

№ 33: French Flageolet in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Soft wood (with ferrells in Brass) in 3 parts with 5 Brass keys. Beak is Oar-shaped and made from Bone. Currently located in Stand for 10 Flageolets.
№ 34: French Flageolet by Jarreteau in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Soft wood (with ferrells in Brass) in 4 parts with 1 Brass key. Beak is Pipe-shaped and made from Wood. Currently located in Stand for 10 Flageolets.
Marks: Jarreteau a Jonzig.
Notes: Beak (damaged) is built into the top section.

№ 38: French Flageolet by Armes et Cycles in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Horn) in 4 parts with 1 Brass key. Currently located in Music Chest, Drawer 1.
Marks: Manufacture Francaise / Armes et Cycles / Saint-Etienne.

Notes: The “W. Damant” stamp is very faint and looks as if it has been applied at a different time to the main stamps.

Notes: Whilst marked as “D” this is significantly longer than any other “D” Flageolet.
№ 48: English Flageolet in D with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Rosewood (with ferrells in German Silver) in 4 parts with 6 German Silver keys. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Flute / Fife head exists. Currently located in Stand for 1 Double and 4 Flageolets.
№ 49: English Flageolet in D with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Rosewood (with ferrells in German Silver) in 3 parts with 5 German Silver keys. Currently located in Music Chest, Drawer 5.

Notes: Should have a low D♯ key which is missing.
№ 52: English Flageolet in D with 6 tone-holes on the front and 1 on the back. Made from Softwood (with ferrells in Brass) in 4 parts with 1 Brass key. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Music Chest, Drawer 3 (Loose).
Notes: First finger hole has been countersunk as if to turn it into a speaker key.
№ 53: Double Flageolet by William Bainbridge in D with 12 tone-holes on the front (of which 2 are for the lower little finger) and 0 on the back. Made from Boxwood (with ferrells in Ivory) in 7 parts with 7 Brass keys. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in Music Chest, Drawer 4.

№ 55: French Flageolet by Philippe Van Linthout in A with 4 tone-holes on the front and 2 on the back. Made from Ebony (with ferrells in German Silver) in 5 parts with 4 German Silver keys. Beak is Oar-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in TBC.
Marks: Vanlinthout / Bruxelles.
№ 56: English Flageolet in D with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Fruitwood (with ferrells in German Silver) in 4 parts with 6 German Silver keys. Beak is Wedge-shaped and made from Ivory. Currently located in TBC.
№ 57: English Flageolet in D with 6 tone-holes on the front and 0 on the back. Made from Fruitwood in 3 parts with 3 Brass keys. Currently located in TBC.
